Goalie Guild's Goalie Ratings *Updated July 31*

Hey guys. I recently spoke to a scout from the Goalie Guild (www.thegoalieguild.com/, twitter.com/thegoalieguild) about our roster updates. I wanted to see if he could help assemble some goalie ratings for the NHL & AHL goalies. And he gladly accepted the task! For the first time ever we have some organized goalie ratings!

Please feel free to comment on any changes or fixes you feel are necessary.

A special thanks to the Goalie Guild for all his hard work he has put into it.

Note: These ratings are a test run. The Goalie Guild plans on updating and re-working the ratings once a month when NHL 11 is released.

My opinion about the ratings....

1. Ryan Millers rating could even be a little bit higher...maybe 93

2. Cristobal Huet shouldn't be better than Niemi.... maybe Niemi85, Huet82

3. Mathieu Garons rating should be 82 or 83

4. Kari Lehtonen a little bit lower, probably 87

5. Jimmy Howard little higher but Osgood bit lower... Howard88, Osgood80

6. Khabibulin even lower, like 84

7. Rinne should be about 88

8. Brodeur little bit lower, maybe 89?

9. Both Leclaire and Elliot about 2 or 3 lower...

10. Varlamov maybe 88 or 89

Thanks for the input! I will make sure to send this to the Goalie Guild and see what he has to say about it. But please remember that these ratings are a "test run". He is going into more detail for NHL 11. But nonetheless, thanks for the input!
